The streamlined shoe features an adapted Koston 2 upper in sleek black leather and incorporates Nike Golf’s groundbreaking “Integrated Traction” technology with Nike SB’s world-class Swingtip outsole. Lightweight and comfortable, the Nike Koston 2 IT maps out foot pressure via Lunarlon inserts and adjusts the flexible spikes accordingly to provide traction, relieving the wearer from having to walk around on hard spikes at all times.

In 1984 the first African American pro skateboarder Chuck Treece made Thrashers magazine cover, and the Nike SB Dunk Hi Premiums are inspired by him. The name Mcrad comes from a punk skate band Chuck Treece started in the 80′s. The ’84 on the right shoe is for his Thrasher magazine cover and on the other shoe there is a ’86 for the McRad record “Absence of Sanity” which came out in 1986.
